In a world which is growing more and more environmentally conscious, choosing green suppliers is an increasingly important objective for VALPAINT. Whether large or small, companies have a responsibility to reduce their environmental impact and help to build a more sustainable future. Choosing qualified partners who share the same principles as VALPAINT is an important step in reducing our environmental impact and helping to build a more sustainable future.
Paint cans with Plastic Second Life certification. The Plastic Second Life logo is an environmental certification used to label products and items made from post-consumer recycled plastic.
The logo certifies:
- the use of at least 30% post-consumer recycled plastic;
- the traceability of the recycled plastic used;
- compliance with the quality requirements of the Italian Plastic Institute.
The logo helps to promote the use of recycled plastic, which is a critical solution in reducing plastic pollution.
In the year 2023 alone, thanks to Plastic Second Life, we saved over 44,000 kg of virgin plastic.
The VALPAINT catalogues and paint can labels are made from FSC paper.
FSC paper is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, an international, non-governmental organisation that aims to promote responsible forest management all over the world.
FSC certification guarantees that the paper has been sourced from sustainably managed forests, with respect for the environment, for local communities and for workers’ rights.
The inks used by our suppliers in printing the VALPAINT catalogues are vegetable-based, meaning they meet our requirements for ensuring a more sustainable future.
